Social Media & Contents Policy

At The Doggy Day Care Centre, we love celebrating the dogs in our care and sharing their stories, photos, and achievements with our community. This Social Media & Content Policy explains how we manage online content, photography, and social media use across our official platforms.

1. Our Social Media Channels

Our official accounts include (but are not limited to):

By enrolling your dog at The Doggy Day Care Centre, you consent to photographs, videos, and written content featuring your dog being used for:

Website galleries and promotional material
Printed publications, newsletters, or displays within our centres

Images are used positively to celebrate the dogs in our care.
If you prefer your dog not to appear in photos or online content, please let us know in writing or by email at info@thedoggydaycarecentre.com — we will ensure your wishes are respected.

3. Tagging and Reuse of Owner Content

If we share or repost images originally taken by owners (for example, via social media tags or mentions), we will always credit the original source where possible.
By tagging or interacting with our official accounts, you grant us permission to repost or share your content for promotional or community purposes.

We kindly ask that all visitors and staff follow these principles when engaging with our social media content:

We reserve the right to remove or report any posts, comments, or content that are offensive, misleading, or harmful.

5. Photography at Events

During events or open days, photography and video recording may take place.
Where appropriate, signage will be displayed to notify attendees that filming or photography is in progress.
If you do not wish to be included in any footage or images, please speak to a member of staff on the day.
